ITKNe/Introducing the project

The purpose of this project is to develop an ICT enabled transnational network of universities to provide opportunities for domestic and international university students to engage in knowledge production and transfer in the field of education (ITKNe), in order for them to develop mutual respect and deep understanding of other knowledge traditions. This will result in international students being admitted to the local discussion and domestic students being admitted to the international discussion of education, resulting in graduates with the international perspectives needed to effectively teach in culturally diverse local and international contexts.

ITKNe will facilitate universities to form institutional partnerships for a particular teaching period, within which the learning activities will be offered jointly but assessment will be undertaken by the home institution.
