ICTs at Makerere

Makerere is trying to intergrate ICTs in its teaching. A training was held on 2nd July 2011, to introduce COCIS academic staff to the use of WEB 2.0 technologies in their teaching. Academic staff were able to know the difference between web 2.0 and web 1.0 technologies.

There are over eight colleges in the university. one of the college, COCIS. There are many challenges to implementing ICTs in teaching and learning in developing countries and Uganda is no exception.
