IRC

Some Wikieducators are available for instant chat on IRC. IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat and is a form of real-time Internet chat or synchronous conferencing. It is mainly designed for group communication in forums called channels, but it can also allow for one-to-one communication and data transfer via private messaging.

Details

The WikiEducator channel is available on the following network:

Network: freenode.net
Server: irc.freenode.net

We recommend you use IRC client software running on your computer, but if that is not convenient, we do have a web-based client that will let you chat with a standard web browser.
