Project Plan

1. Collect yam germplasm in ESA
2. Generate information on agronomic characteristics of the germplasm
3. Determine the chemical composition of the germplasm
4. Determine and describe the best practices in the production of yams in the different target countries
5. Generate a map of the main areas of production and the centres where germplasm was collected
