God Did It All

Pastor Choolwe December 1 at 7:52am

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for our sake, that we might be become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Dear beloveds, as I write this message to you all, I grieve for the many believers that have backsliden and the church seems to have fired and killed its wounded soldiers.

I also grieve for that christian who has made mistakes in life and dont seem to forgive themselves and forget the past.

The bible in the first place instructs us to preach the Gospel which being translated is good news. The gospel is not telling people that they will go to hell or that they are sinners. That is scaring news and it does not sound good at all.

Well the good news is that they will not have to go to hell anymore becuase God has provided the solution. They will only go there if they refuse what Jesus did for them.

What about that person who has done wrong and cant move on; well as long as you hold on to that, you are trying to suggest to God that you have a better way to deal with your sins or wrongs than what he did already by sending Jesus.

You have tried and complained and that guilt does not leave you. You have even confessed and prayed but you reminded of it especialluy when you go where people preach sin and not the solution to sin which is JESUS. Why dont you now accept that what God did in Jesus was more than enough for all the sins you will ever commit? This is the way to liberty. Jesus said I AM THE WAY!

HE made Him who knew no sin to become sin that you might be called His righteousness. This means God has put His nature which inherently makes you want to good in you.He does not see a christian as a sinner but his very righteousness.

So let go of thatpast because Christ did it all.

SO form today onwards, you know that Christains are not people who dont do any wrong BUT THEY ARE PEOPL WHOSE WRONGS HAVE BEEN CREDITED TO ANOTHER MAN'S ACCOUNT.THANK GOD FOR JESUS!

Prayer Dear Lord God. I thank you for sending Jesus to take away all my sins. He was made sin for me that I might become righteousness. Toady , I let go of all the past wrongs in my life and I refuse to be sin conscious. In jesus' name Amen!

Well enjoy the liberty and you are blessed for life. No more guilt.

You are God's Best

Pastor Choolwe November 30 at 1:13pm

In this world where men face various challenges, many people feel they are not as good as others; and others simply feel they are not worthy of God's blessings like others. But what is God's position on this?

I believe that all of you have at one time or another bought something by paying money for it. Now the value of a thing is represented by the amount of money that you pay for it called the price.

The bible says (1 Corinthians 6:17-19) says you were bought/purchased with the precious blood of Jesus. This means that God equated your value to the blood of Jesus. That shows you how important you are to HIM. If he values you that highly, what cant he give you?

Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures (James 1:18).

The Bible says “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). God gave us His best, because we’re His best. He saved us with the precious blood of Jesus Christ: “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” (1 Peter 1:18-19). Nothing could be greater or better than this. Nothing proves how valuable we are to the Father than the underlined truth revealed in the scripture above.

Our opening verse says “Of his own will begat he uswith the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures”; He did it of His own accord; out of His own volition He made us the first and the best! That’s what it means by “first fruits of His creatures.” We didn’t pray for it, we didn’t beg for it; He conferred it on us by choice. He made us His peculiar treasure by choice. I love the way the Message Translation puts it, it says, “He brought us to life using the true Word, showing us off as the crown of all his creatures” (MSG).

You’re the crown of all that God created, you’re His glory; His beautifully crafted masterpiece; His very best! That’s why it took the death of Jesus Christ—the most perfect sacrifice and greatest gift of all—to consummate your salvation.

Prayer Dear heavenly Father, I thank you so much for your great love for me, which you demonstrated when Jesus died for me on the Cross. I’m awed and overwhelmed by this great sacrifice through which I’ve become a partaker of your grace and the crowning beauty of all your creation! Thank you for showing me off as the crown of all your creatures, in Jesus’ Name. Amen

Further Study 1 Peter 2:9 (King James Version) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

Psalm 139:14 (King James Version) I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Ephesians 2:10 (King James Version) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Cultivate Your Spirit

Pastor Choolwe November 25 at 11:14am Dear Beloveds,

Thoseof you that are members of our church (Gospel Envoys Church) are aware that I am currently teaching on the person and ministry of the Holy Spirit. But to help us relate with Him, I have been teaching on the REAL YOU- THE SPIRIT MAN. I would like to have you devote on the aspect of cultivating your spirit so that you get yourself ready for the Word coming this saturday during prayer and fasting and on sunday. For those who are not Lusaka based, I resound my promise, we are definitely coming to your part of the world.

Thank you to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome phD again for most of my referals for today.

For thus saith the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns (Jeremiah 4:3).

As a Christian, you have the responsibility to “cultivate” your spirit. I use the term “cultivate” because the human spirit is likened severally in the scriptures to the soil. Now the word “cultivate” literally means “to prepare for the raising of crops”; it also means to loosen or break up the soil to foster the growth of crops.” It also means to improve by labor, care or study; to refine, as with the mind-to cultivate the mind.

From the scriptures, we understand that the Word of God is seed (Luke 8:11). Therefore, cultivating or preparing the soil of your heart-your human spirit ready for “raising crops” so to speak, means getting your spirit ready for the Word. God’s Word is designed to produce in you a harvest of what it talks about-health, prosperity, peace, joy, abundance, and victory. But if the heart is not “cultivated” or made ready for the entrance of the Word it will not produce the desired results. Now, how do you cultivate or make your heart ready for the Word?

When a farmer cultivates His land, the first thing he does is to dig and stir it up-he ploughs it. Now, the Bible tells us to stir up the gift of God in us. That gift is the Holy Spirit and one way to stir up His power in you is through speaking in tongues. When the power is stirred, it becomes easy for the Word of God to get into your spirit and sink deep into your consciousness.

The second thing the farmer does is to fertilize the land, and we fertilize our spirits through prayer. Through prayer, your spirit is conditioned rightly to receive the Word of God.

When your spirit is cultivated, you’ll keep experiencing a harvest of the Word in your life. Never allow your heart lie fallow. Stir and fertilize your spirit every day. Remember that in the same way natural soil left fallow and untended will of necessity produce weeds, the one whose spirit is uncultivated will have all the wrong stuff showing up in his life. Let your spirit produce for you a harvest of the Word, take conscious steps to cultivate your spirit, not just today, but every day.

CONFESSION I’m enabled by the spirit of God to consistently cultivate my recreated human spirit, making it a suitable environment for the Word of God to grow, prevail and produce results of what it talks about in my life. Through the Word that I receive today, the glory of God is manifested in my life and expressed in everything I do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen

FURTHER STUDY Luke 8:11-15 (King James Version) 11Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. 13They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. 14And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. 15But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

Jude 1:20 (King James Version) But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

You are blessed for life

Give God the Best

Today we dedicate the devitional to all our faithful partners of this ministry who have kept the ministry programmes running.

I wish to say thank you and God bless you all. I hope you will be attending our special prayer and fasting service on saturday the 28th November starting at 9 hours.

Keep giving and remember to GIVE GOD THE BEST

You say, ‘Oh, it’s too difficult to serve the Lord and do what he asks.’ And you turn up your noses at the rules he has given you to obey. Think of it! Stolen animals, lame and sick – as offerings to God! Should I accept such offerings as these?” asks the Lord.“Cursed is that man who promises a fine ram from his flock and substitutes a sick one to sacrifice to God. For I am a Great King, says the Lord Almighty, and my name is to be mightily revered among the Gentiles (Malachi 1:13-14 TLB).

God doesn’t just deserve your best, He deserves the best. In fact, He demands it, and He’ll accept nothing less. Anytime you give God the best of what you have, you activate a Biblical principle and you’re blessed for your action of faith and trust.

When He gave the Law to the children of Israel, He specifically warned them never to bring anything less than the best before His altar as offering: “And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto the Lord thy God” (Deuteronomy 15:21). If they did, they would come under a curse. And this was their sin against the Lord many years later (Malachi 1:13-14).

When we needed a Savior, He didn’t send an angel, He gave His Son to die for our sins, and when we needed a teacher, He sent His Holy Spirit to live in us to teach us all things, and bring us into all truth. God doesn’t consider anything too good for you; this same attitude is what He expects in our service and dedication to Him. We’re to give Him our ALL! We’re to give Him the very best of all we have—our time, resources, energy—our life, for He deserves the best.

PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for the privilege and opportunity to put your Word to work and watch it produce results. Today, I reaffirm that all I am, and all I have are yours forever, and I will forever worship you with the very best of my substance as a token of my gratitude to you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY 2 Samuel 24:24 24 And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.

Proverbs 3:9-10 9 Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase: 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

A special thanks to Pastor Anita Oyakhilome for today's devotional because a good part of this one is an except from hers

You are blessed for life.

Faith Comes to Your Spirit

Pastor Choolwe October 23 at 8:16am

Well well well I am so excited today to share what I learnt yesterday form Pastor Chris Oyakhilome phD of course. Thank God he was born in my time.

This one will energize you but remember the Word-Invasion Weekend will ignite faith and fire for your future to sustain what this devotional will do to your spirit. See you at Evelyn Hone Main Hall tonight(16 hrs to 21 hrs) as Pastor Bruce Msidi and Bishop Nelly Chikwanda release God's oracles to you.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1)

Have you noticed sometimes as you sit listening to God’s Word, the whole world suddenly seems small? All the challenges you may have been facing suddenly seem like nothing at that time! The reason is simple. At such a time, the Word of God is getting into your spirit and provoking a response from your inner man. That response is faith. This is why the Bible says “…Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).

Every time you hear God’s Word your spirit becomes energized, and faith comes to you. Faith is an attribute of the human spirit; it doesn’t operate in the realm of the physical senses; it was imparted to your spirit when you were born again (Romans 12:3). Thus every time you hear the Word of God, it goes through your mind into your spirit, for it is designed for your spirit. That Word becomes more real in your spirit than the physical things that your senses perceive.

So, if the Bible says that faith is the evidence of the things we don’t see or perceive with our senses, as in the opening scripture, then faith is the evidence of what the Word says! Faith accepts and exalts what the Word says above the natural circumstances of life. Therefore, faith is that response that your spirit has to the Word of God.

This is why it’s vital for you to regularly study and meditate on the Word. There’s a spiritual reaction that is ignited between your spirit and the Word of God that gives you dominion over the circumstances of life! When that reaction takes place, faith rises in you like a giant and you have the assurance that you’re who God says you are, you have what He says you have, and can do what He says you can do! The challenges of this world will fade away as you find yourself relating with the realities of the Kingdom

Confession My spirit is attuned to the Word of God. Every time I receive the Word, my faith increases and produces greater results, and my spirit gains the ascendancy over the situations and circumstances of life. I can never be defeated because my faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Hallelujah.

You are blessed for life

You Can Blaze New Trails

Pastor Choolwe October 22 at 8:26am
Beloveds,

We have not sent you devotionals for while due to a few things that overtook us.

We apologize for that. For today, I would like to challenge you to give attention to what is in you so that you can leave anindellible mark in this world.

I have thus chosen these Holy Words form Pastor Chris Oyakhilome phD which I know will bless you as they have done to me.Enjoy reading as youy poise yourself for blazing New Trails.

I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions (Proverbs 8:12).

There’s no telling what you can achieve if you’d only put the creative abilities within you to work. God created you not to be a mediocre but a trailblazer. If you’re born again, and have the Holy Spirit living in you, then it means you have the greatest Teacher living inside you, and there’s absolutely no subject in life He’s deficient in.

Thus, the Holy Spirit living in you will grant you knowledge of witty inventions, for the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of wisdom. Thus, you can blaze new trails and chart new frontiers in different fields of human endeavour. A little boy once asked me: “How come many scientists have invented a lot of things for the world to enjoy and Christians haven’t done likewise?” He asked an intelligent question, but the mistake he made was that he saw Christians as one group and scientists as another group; he never thought of the fact that many scientists are Christians.

The Holy Spirit living in you is your unparalleled advantage to be a trailblazer. He can grant you insights into fields that haven’t even been discovered yet! You can be the first to discover the cure for cancer, HIV/AIDS, and other medically incurable ailments. You can blaze the trail in these fields. The world is looking for problem-solvers who will make new discoveries that’ll permanently solve the many social, political, and economic ills that are plaguing the world today.

You’re that solution the world is looking for—you’re the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). Refuse to let your mind go to sleep. Put the wisdom of God that’s functioning in you to work and become a creator. Become an inventor. It’s time to break new grounds; it’s time to blaze new trails.

Confession The wisdom of God is at work in me. Therefore, I take giant strides by the Spirit and launch into new frontiers. I’m breaking new grounds and blazing new trails, for I have the wisdom of God and ingenuity of the Spirit working in me.

Well see you at Evelyn Hone Tommorow as we start the Word Invasion Weekend and blaze new trails.

You are blessed for life
