Mini-conference
This is the chance for you to present your Flexible Learning Plan to the class. You can decide how you do this and also how you gather feedback. The scheduled dates for the mini-conference are:
- Wednesday 27 June, 2012 - 13:00 - 14:00 via an Adobe Connect web conference.
- Monday 25 June, 2012 - 13:00 - 15:00 in D314, on-campus.
Please keep the presentation to 10 minutes - there will be five minutes for questions and discussion. It is your choice how you present your plan, and this can be online – synchronous or asynchronous or face-to-face. You may choose to use a digital slide show, video, audio, written piece, blog, wiki, verbal description in person, poster etc. You are required to obtain feedback from peers in the class and/or colleagues prior to the final presentation and to include how this has influenced your plan.
- Please confirm or add your name to the table - use Rich text editor mode - you need to create an account in WikiEducator first.
- Click edit (tab at top), then choose Rich Editor (top left of menu) or Open Rich editor in new window.

Suggestions for the presentation
Here are some ideas for the format you might use. If you do present in a face-to-face format, please think about how you might record this so others in the class can access your plan. The facilitator can assist with this.
- A slide presentation with supporting audio published on a popular media sharing network (ie. http://slideshare.net or http://myplick.com)or
- Powerpoint or other presentation format in a face-to-face session - talking to the audience is fine as well. You may or may not wish to use props to illustrate your points.
- Use a webcam to capture yourself speaking and add to http://Youtube.com
- Audio recording of your plan loaded to http://blip.tv and/or http://Archive.org
- A video recording of yourself giving the presentation, and loaded to Google Videos.
- A recorded web conference (http://elluminate.tekotago.ac.nz) or a recorded web presentation (ie. http://ustream.com).
If you are unable to meet these dates or are presenting asynchronously it would be good if you could support your colleagues who will be presenting. If you wish to present in real-time (f2f or online) to a group at a later date, please discuss this option with the facilitator as you will require an extension.
