Step 1: Describe your learners -- who is the target audience for your teaching resource? Step 2: Specify what your teaching resource will teach -- what should the learners be able to do after studying or working with your teaching resource? Step 3: Identify and describe the characteristics of your resource -- do the learners need a tutorial, or a workshop or a study-guide?
