The Thinker by Rodin located at the Musée Rodin in Paris The aim of this course is to provide an opportunity to acquire critical thinking tools to critically analyse and evaluate knowledge claims. These tools are crucial to making informed decisions in study, work and private situations.
Learners who complete the Critical reasoning course are:
- Orientated towards independent thinking through active participation in the development of their competence in critical reasoning skills.
- They are sensitive to fallacies in reasoning and adopt a critical attitude towards stereotypes and biases.
- They demonstrate the basic competence to analyse and evaluate different kinds of arguments, and to construct their own arguments by applying their experience and competencies acquired through their studies in critical reasoning.
This is where we will set up the aggregated feed for micro-blog and OERu forum posts.
