Explore the Mozilla Web Literacy Framework website. In today’s business world, your personal presence is reflected in your online communication as much as in face-to-face meetings, or hard copy documents. The Mozilla Web Literacy Framework describes core skills now expected in work and learning, and demonstrates their relationship to entry-level digital literacies. To explore the framework, click on the key words in the two outer circles on the map graphic to see skill definitions and sample activities. To return to the full graphic, click on the text ‘Web Literacy’ at the centre of the map. You can also click on the text ‘21st Century Skills’ to the left of the map graphic to access the definitions, competencies, and web literacies associated with the problem-solving, communication, creativity, and collaboration skills. To build your competencies in core 21st Century skills and digital literacies, try doing some of the activities that pop up when you click on the key words on the map or the 21st Century Skills page. Each activity has a clear description and time estimate to help you make selections that suit your learning goals and schedule.
