25.2.0 CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY II

25.2.01 MODULE UNIT DESCRIPTION

The module unit covers selection of appropriate plant, making precast concrete units, methods of fixing and the treatment of concrete joints PURPOSE The module unit is designed to equip the trainee with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable him/her to produce concrete products of good quality

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

The trainee undertaking this module unit should have done concrete Technology I.

25.2.02 GENERAL OBJECTIVES

At the end of this module unit, the trainee should be able to:

1. Appropriate plant for making concrete units
2. Appreciate the use of concrete as a building material
3. Understand the need for treatment at concrete joints.
