Some commonly used computer Terms

CD-ROM: stands for Compact Disc Read Only Memory. It contains data that is on a pre pressed disc that administers computer software, games, audio, multimedia applications. It's use depends on the capacity limits of the disc.

Driver - a file on a computer which tells it how to communicate with an add-on piece of equipment (like a printer).

Some Computer Acronyms

RAM- Random Access Memory

CPU- Central Processing Unit

HDD- Hard Disk Drive LAN- Local Area Network

.avi - Audio Video Interleave File. Format comonly used to display videos.
