Introduction
We have created a few templates which you may find useful while authoring content or reviewing existing materials. The advantage of these templates is that all pages within the CCNC development which use these templates will be listed in one place. Making it easier when finalising the materials.
In-text editorial comments
You may want to insert an editorial comment or reminder in one of your content pages.
To do this use the following syntax:
{{Note|Your editorial comment goes here}}
which will display as: (: Your editorial comment goes here)
All pages using this template will automatically be listed on the Category:Pages with editorial comments
Image needed
This template is used for specifying the need for an image or screen shot.
The standard syntax is:
{{Image_needed|Enter your specification ideas here}}
The template accepts the following attributes:
- align = left, center, right (default is left)
- size = integer value, for example 150 (default is 80 pixels).
For example:
{{Image_needed|Screenshot of Open Office showing the File>save function required|align=left|size=150|}}
All pages using this template will automatically be listed on the Category:Pages Needing Images
MM (Multimedia) needed template
This template is used by authors, editors and reviewers of content pages to indicate where multimedia objects will enhance the learning materials. The template requires you to specify ideas for the kind of multimedia as well as a a brief specification describing what multimedia your require. All pages using this template are listed on the [[Category:Pages_Needing_Multimedia|Pages Needing Multimedia].
The standard syntax is:
{{MM_needed|Enter your specification ideas here}}
The template accepts the following attributes:
- align = left, center, right (default is left)
- size = integer value, for example 150 (default is 80 pixels).
