Identifying what the curriculum requires

In the Learning Projects section of this module, you identified the types of activities you will embed in your course to meet the needs of your learners. You accessed the OARAS document and recorded your ideas for your course project, and now it is time to ensure that these activities align with the outcomes you identified and fit within your resources.

Review the outcomes and the resources that you have already developed. You may have existing textual information or readings, infographics, videos, presentations. The resources provide the learners with the required knowledge to complete the tasks identified in the outcomes.

Assessment
The activities that you create are steppingstones to the task outcomes that you have identified in your assessments. It is important the activities that you create will provide your learners with knowledge that will assist with their final assessment.

Your activities should provide reminders, concepts, definitions and industry specific information to help the learners achieve the desired outcomes when they are assessed.
