Teaching and learning resources are embedded in traditional teaching and learning practice.

In short they are the educational materials required to provide information to your learner. This course provides you with information on a range of resources that you can create to support your learners. This goes beyond the traditional textbook. We can present information in many different ways and this will support different people with different learning styles.

Objectives

Once you have worked your way successfully through the learning activities in this learning pathway, you will be able to:

1. Identify the basic principles of Open Educational Resource (OER)
2. Understand the different creative commons licenses and how they are applied
3. Understand resources and their purpose in supporting learning outcomes and engaging the learner
4. Identify resources appropriate to build required knowledge and skills
5. Plan and storyboard Instructional videos
6. Produce and edit educational videos
