The aim of this module is to assist you to develop an understanding of the role of inclusive and equitable communication practices, teaching presence, and course netiquette for successful Open, Distance and Flexible Learning (ODFL) delivery.
On successful completion of this module, you should be able to:
- Recognise the fundamental differences between face-to-face and ODFL delivery.
- Identify and reflect on the different purposes and types of communication in an ODFL environment.
- Define online teaching presence and how to create it.
- Explain the importance of course netiquette.
