- Co-chairs Standards Committee with Vice President and at least one Governing Board member at large
- Convenes experts from the OER community worldwide to explore the development of standards for open educational resources targeted toward post-secondary learners in their first two years of academic, artistic, vocational or technical education
- Coordinates interaction with similar bodies
- Submits Standards recommendations to CCCOER Primary Contacts for

** Ratification - Periodically publishes CCCOER Standards
