Computers for Communities is a volunteer community project in Ottawa, Canada aimed at connecting used computers with those who can use them.

This is achieved through various means:

• Enable volunteers to use technology
• Enable communities to cross the digital divide
• Educate users on affordable technology options
• Train and re-train individuals to remain up to date on technology skills
• Have fun and play with technology
• Encourage the involvement of youth
• Enable technology as a tool, not a solution
• Network with strategic partners
