FILM REVIEW : JANE EYRE (1997)

Charlotte Bronte’s literary masterpiece, "Jane Eyre," has been adapted for the silver screen numerous times over the years. One of the most notable adaptations is the 2011 film directed by Cary Fukunaga. This rendition beautifully captures the essence of Bronte’s novel while adding its own cinematic flair. After the bleak childhood, Jane Eyre goes out into the world to become a governess. As she lives happily in her new position at thorn field hall she meets the dark cold and abrupt master of the house Mr. Edward Rochester. Jane and her employer grow close in friendship and she soon finds herself fulling in love with him. Jane Eyre flees thorn field house, where she works as a governess for wealthy Mr. Rochester. The isolated and imposing residence and Mr. Rochester coldness , have sorely tested the young women resilience forged years earlier when she was orphaned.
Before Jane becomes governess in thorn field house her life takes a turn when she is sent to lowood school, a charity institution for girls. Condition at lowood are harsh, and Jane best friend Helen burns, a fellow student. Tragedy strikes when Helen passes away due to illness, leaving Jane to endure the schools strict regime. Then Jane grows older, she becomes a teacher at lowood and eventually decides to leaves in search of a new adventure. She accepts a position as a governess at thorn field hall. Thorn field hall hides a dark secret. Jane is to marry him, she learns of his mad wife Bertha, kept under lock and key. And after see to Rochester first wife Jane ran away from thorn field hall.
Then Jane conceal her true identity and works as a school teacher in the village of Morton St. John rivers a clergyman discovers her secret and is determined to take her to India as his wife and partner in missionary works. Jane is tempted by the idea of a purposeful life but ultimately realizes she cannot marry him without love and she also is a sister of John river.
Then Jane hears Rochester’s voice calling out to her dreams and she returns to thorn field to find it in ruins a terrible fire has left Rochester blind and maimed. But Jane loves him and they both get married and they start new life.
But at the end Jane get marry with Rochester even after knowing that he was blind and physically not good that’s was the not a good decision by Jane.
