Bruno Lopes de Araújo is a Mozambican. He graduated with the Licenciature degree in Agronomy (major in Vegetal Production and Protection) from the Eduardo Mondlane University in Mozambique [(UEM)] in 1990 and with the degree of Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign, United States of America, in 1999. He has worked for a Bank actually named “Banco Austral” as a clerk, as branch Manager and finally as General Manager in several Provinces, sussessively. Actually he is lecturing economics in the Faculty of Agronomy and Forestry Engineering of the Eduardo Mondlane University, as well as the Business Module in the Gaza’s Polytechnic Higher Institute. He is the Node Coordinator of FANRPAN (Food Agriculture Natural Resources Policy Analysis Network) in Mozambique, and he is member of the following entities: a) the World Trade Organization JITAP (Joint Integrated Technical Assistance Program) Inter-Institutional Committee; b) the World Trade Organization Reference Center for the Mozambican Academia; c) the Engineers Council; d) the Steering Committee of the Cluster Initiative; e) the Cassava Cluster Initiative; f) the cassava Task Group for the Cassava National Strategy Evaluation; g)The Installation Committee of the National Forum for Agriculture. He is actually searching for a sponsorship and opportunity for undertaking PhD studies.

He has particular interest on cassava, on Entrepreneurship, on Food Security,on Rural finance and on Natural Resources Management.
