Personal Information
Maphosa, Mcebisi is undertaking his internship at the RUFORUM secretariat office in Kampala, Uganda. He is a Zimbabwean born on the 5th of November 1983. In 2005, he completed his Bachelors degree in Agriculture at the University of Zimbabwe. He did his Masters degree in Crop Science (Genetics and Plant Breeding) at Makerere Unversity in 2008. He has research interest in biometrical genetics, marker assisted selection, seed science and their role in improving crop productivity. Mr Maphosa is ear-marked for enrolment in maiden regional PhD (Plant Breeding and Biotechnology) to be hosted by Makerere University.
