Being an Outstanding Teacher
Oh what joy in being a teacher. Teaching is not only a job but a vocation. One has to have the qualities of determination, patience, innovation, creativity, kindness, empathy, boldness, inspiration and guts to do the job. It is not only waiting for payday and complaining about the students that you have.
It is all about
- making a difference in the lives of those who are entrusted to your care
- ensuring that the morals and values of the society is transmitted through generations
- you have impacted one life positively
- making the world a beautiful place
To do this we must
- Work hard
- Work harder
- Get little rewards
- Get little or no respect
- Perform Miracles
- Lots of miracles
- Work hardest
So if you are considering becoming a teacher please consider teaching as a vocation and not as a job or income earner. It is a calling in which your rewards are riches stored in heaven.
