Rosh hashana

Rosh Hashana is a Jewish holiday commonly referred to as the "Jewish New Year. Rosh Hashanah is the first of the High Holidays or Yamim Noraim(Days of Awe), or Asseret Yemei Teshuva (The Ten Days of Repentance) which are days specifically set aside to focus on repentance that conclude with the holiday of Yom Kippur. Rosh Hashanah is the start of the civil year in the Hebrew calendar It is the new year for people, animals, and legal contracts. Rosh Hashanah commemorates the creation of man whereas five days earlier, on 25 of Elul, marks the first day of creation.

Yom kippur

Yom Kippur, also known in English as the Day of Atonement, is the most solemn and important of the Jewish holidays. Its central themes are atonement and repentance. Jews have traditionally observed this holiday with a 25-hour period of fasting and intensive prayer.

few things that you cant do at Yom kippur: 1. Eating and drinking 2. Wearing leather shoes 3. Bathing/washing 4. Anointing oneself with perfumes or lotions 5. Sexual relations

Succot

Succot is a jewish holiday. The holiday lasts seven days, including Chol Hamoed. In the judaism it is one of the three major holidays known collectively as the Shalosh Regalim. in succot there is a sukkah, this is what the jewish build when they was 40 years in the desert after they escap from Egypt. During this holiday, Jews construct and reside in sukkahs small and large. Here families eat their meals, entertain guests, relax, and even sleep. The other key and unique observance of the festival is the daily waving of the Arba minim, or four species, consisting of the lulav, etrog, hadassim and aravot.

My School Trip

The trip was to the Dead Sea, near Jerusalem in the Judean Desert and in the surrounding areas. The students slept in tents with slumber sacks and blankets. At night, it was very cold and some of the students returned home sick.

Project Conclusion

My project is about experimenting on animals. I checked where scientists get their animals for the experiment. During my project I found out that there is actually an organization that provides animals for those mad scientists. During the project I also found out that there are organizations that demonstrate against experimenting on animals. Personally, I think that such things to unfortunate animals.

Listen Skills

Listening is something that is very important in life, its change things for example: if someone tells you something and you don’t listen, you will do this not correctly, but if you will listen you will do this well, like if the teacher says something's to do in class and you don’t listen to her you will know what to do.

I am a bad listener because when someone tells me something, sometimes I think about other things and I can't get concentrated on the person that talked to me, and then I do the wrong thing and not what I spouse to do.

There is something that people can do to be more concentrated, today there is Ritalin, this is a medication that helps people to concentrate at school, at the university, at work...

Elephants And The Tsunami

few years ago in tailand there was disaster, a lot of people died, many houses destroyed, and a lot of people remane without house and family. this disaster was tsunami. tsunami is a big wave that caused from a earthquake under the sea and it caused to interruption under the water and it casued the huge wave that comes and destroys everythings. a few seconds befor the tsunami started a few animals was unquiet, they hyave felt that something isv going to happen. animals can feel if something is wrong, they can hear it because their vision is not ferpect so their hearing is olmost perfect. for exsample- before ther is earthquake dogs for exsample start to bark and they are not peasful. as well the elephants, before the tsunami the people who was with elepants says that the animals wasnt quite at all, the start to go wild and it wasnt the kind of behaving like usualy.

hard thing

life is very hard, during life people have to do some things that is not allways easy for them. my story is about the hardest thing that i did in my life. when i was 9 years old my family and i moved out to a new home, because of that i had to move to another school. moving to another school was a very hard thing for me, because i left all my friends and i moved to a new place wehre i dont know anybody there. at the begining i was very shay but after a while i was more open with the children and i met new friends.
