AsiaCALL 2008 The Seventh International Conference of The Asia Association of Computer-Assisted Language Learning hosted by The School of English, Institute of Social Technology Suranaree University of Technology, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand 21 to 23 November 2008 AsiaCALL 2008 will be hosted by by the School of English, Institute of Social Technology, Suranaree University of Technology (SUT), Thailand's premier technological university and invites participants from all over the world to attend.
SUT is situated at Nakhon Ratchasima, about three hours north of Bangkok in a magnificent rural setting (special transport arrangements will be provided for delegates).

Proposals are invited on any topic dealing with the following theme:
==Successful Technology-Supported Educational Outcomes: A Look at Effective Language Teaching/Learning==
We anticipate papers, workshops, panel discussions and/or poster-sharing on a wide range of topics addressing technology issues as they affect the development of language acquisition, teaching, learning, and professional language communication in physical and virtual settings.
Format for Proposals
Abstracts relating to any of the above presentations should be of 300 words in length. Abstracts should be received on or before August 31 2008
Papers are to be planned for 30-minute presentations and 10-minute discussions. Workshops are to be planned for 2 hours. Panel Discussions, thread-based with four speakers, are planned for 1.5 hours where each speaker will have the floor for 15 minutes, and there will be a discussion of 30 minutes. Full papers of the accepted abstracts are by 23 November 2008, the last day of AsiCALL2008. Format for papers: 3000 to 4000 words, APA-style referencing, 12pt font, Times New Roman Accepted papers may be reviewed for selective publication in refereed Proceedings.
