  1. Dosa Rice - One big tumbler
  2. Grated Coconut - Of one full coconut
  3. Jaggery - One big tumbler
  4. Oil - to deep fry


Soak rice for 5 minutes. Drain the water and grind it in a mixer till it forms a smooth powder. Grate a medium size coconut very fine. Could also be done on a mixer. Grate jaggery or use liquid jaggery (Joni Bella). Add jaggery to grated coconut and heat till it boils. While doing this you have stir. Now start adding the rice flour to the boiling liquid at once. Stir till a thick paste is formed. Stop heating. When the content cools it will become more thick. Now make small balls pat to form small cakes. Deep fry the cakes. Now you have the attrasa ready.
