Tasks

  1. Decide on a civilisation in the Asia-Pacific you want to explore. Begin researching general information on your selected civilisation using the available online resources.
  2. Refine your search by narrowing your focus to either a specific timeframe (eg. 1500 – 1800), or a specific dynasty, social, political or indigenous movement, or some other specific focus. Your timeline does not need to be fancy – the examples provided as stimulus demonstrate two ways in which a timeline can be prepared but they are certainly not meant to be prescriptive.
  3. Your timeline should be around 250-300 words in length. You really only need to include the key issues and events pertaining to your particular area of research relevant to your chosen civilisation so don’t get bogged down in information overload.
