Purpose

To identify and explain the main historical, theoretical and policy developments which have led to closer economic integration and cooperation in the Pacific region.

Tasks



  1. Decide on which state in the Pacific you want to know more about.
  2. Begin researching information on the economic history and economic status of your selected state. You should explore and report on the state’s historical, theoretical and policy developments over the past couple of decades. You should also explore how the state has contributed (if indeed it has) to closer economic integration and cooperation in the Pacific region.
  3. Write a summary of your findings (400-450) with full citation details of your sources.
