- Consider the following examples of suitable projects. You do not need to choose one of these; they are listed here to give you an idea of the scale of the project you need to identify.
- A school reunion.
- Establishing a new business unit within your organisation.
- Development of a software application for managing event applications.
- Renovation of a family home.
- Planning a conference.
- A secondary school swimming competition.
- Review the following criteria for your project:
- Must have a specified duration, ideally less than 12 months.
- Must be able to identify at least 3 stakeholders.
- Must require inputs from more than one person to complete the project.
- Consider these factors as well:
- Can you think of a project that that is about the same scale as the projects in the list and meets the criteria above?
- Are you interested enough in this project for it to keep you motivated throughout while working on it throughout this course?
- Share your project idea with the other participants using this forum.
