  1. Consider the following examples of suitable projects. You do not need to choose one of these; they are listed here to give you an idea of the scale of the project you need to identify.
    • A school reunion.
    • Establishing a new business unit within your organisation.
    • Development of a software application for managing event applications.
    • Renovation of a family home.
    • Planning a conference.
    • A secondary school swimming competition.
  2. Review the following criteria for your project:
    • Must have a specified duration, ideally less than 12 months.
    • Must be able to identify at least 3 stakeholders.
    • Must require inputs from more than one person to complete the project.
  3. Consider these factors as well:
    • Can you think of a project that that is about the same scale as the projects in the list and meets the criteria above?
    • Are you interested enough in this project for it to keep you motivated throughout while working on it throughout this course?
  4. Share your project idea with the other participants using this forum.
