WikiEducator:Hosting/Migration/Statement of Work

Background

WikiEducator has outgrown it's current hosting situation and it requires greater control over managing it's server configuration. It has been requested that WE finds a new hosting arrangement while also upgrading its server infrastructure.

Project outcomes

A multi-server hosting situation with the latest versions of required server software.

What success looks like

• A new hosting situation with less than two hours downtime for migration
• Server infrastructure providing a configuration capable of hosting WE for the next three years (until spring 2011)
• Latest versions of server software
• tested fail over capabilities
