• Date of Grenada's Independence:The 7th February 1974

• Political independence refers to the priviledge that a country has to be in control of its own economy.

Activity:Pupils brain storm and share their experiences and knowledge about Grenada's Independence using the KWL method.

Assessment:Pupils complete an 'All I know about Grenada's Independence' questionaire.

Evaluation:Pupils should be able to state something new
