Direct or indirect route?
The voice you use in your writing can determine how the reader perceives you and can have an impact on the point(s) you're trying to get across. Most people prefer reading a text using an active voice because it conveys a sense a purpose and clarity. In comparison, the passive voice is often more convoluted and can confuse the reader. Now it's time to look more closely at the differences between the active and passive voice.
