Course overview

The matrix structure of this pilot micro course is set out below. The six learning pathways reflect key curriculum design topics and are named in the column headings. Each learning pathway consists of a number of activities that you can complete in full, or selectively based on your prior knowledge, experience and needs. Column one lists the five foundational open educational practice (OEP) concepts introduced in the first learning pathway. The sub-topics on which the learning activities are based are identified at relevant intersections of the two. While the course is supported by the facilitators over the five week duration, we recognise that learners will engage in different ways and at different times. We estimate full completion of the micro course will require at least 20hrs, with the second major task due one week after the end of Week 5.
