Instructions for the Activity Wiki
A. Activity Wiki
1. Research how wikis are used in the classroom by doing an internet search. Be sure to read information that teachers who have wikis have posted as well as sample wikis with student work. Examples of these can be found in the Resources for Activity Wiki link in this folder.
2. You will be creating a wiki that you can use for an activity in your class.
3. Your class wiki should include:
a. 3 pages linked to the navigation menu (one can be Home)
b. A home page explaining your wiki and project concept to your students, not to the professor.
c. Three images (used with permission or copyright free)
d. One interactive activity that students would use (It would require the students to edit the wiki.)
e. Links to at least 3 other internet pages for more information about the topic of the wiki.
f. At least two embedded widgets such as a video, audio file, calendar, map, etc. See the Widget
list in Wikispaces under the little tv icon.
g. Please refer to the wiki grading rubric to make sure you have met all the requirements before
you turn in your work. Grading Criteria for Activity Wiki.doc
