Midterm Project Summary

•Much progress has been made to decrease child mortality but the numbers are not dwindling at the rate expected.

• sub-Saharian Africa is still seeing high numbers which are not getting better

• The biggest way to help this is simple things such as immunizations and clean water

• Children who die before the age of five typically do so because of easily preventable illnesses
