Review of Ying-Yang Chuang's "A study of college EFL students´s affective reactions and attitudes toward two types of performance-based oral tests"

This research explore students reactions and attitudes toward different types of oral assessment. This reasearch focuses on affective reactions which has to be with feelings and moods at the moment of having an oral test. The author claims that group interaction has a relationship with students reactions; that is why teachers should focus and how to apply oral test in a group. Th reasercher decide to use questionaires in the collecting data process to control the information and cover 102 students.


The data analyzed is collected in 2007 during the spring semester. The research explore Taiwanese college students in their midterm and final oral assessment. Both quantitative and qualitative data are collected from the students responses in the questionaireThe participants of this research are college students of Cheng Shiu University References:
