Training Manager COMMON RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 1.Conduct orientation sessions and arrange On-the-Job Training for New Hires. 2.Identifying training needs and requirements of individuals and organizations. 3.Designing, coordinating, scheduling and conducting training and development programs that can be delivered in the form of individual and group instruction, and facilitating workshops, meetings, demonstrations and conferences. 4.Liaising with external training providers to arrange delivery of specific training and development programs. 5.Promoting internal and external training and development, and evaluating these promotional activities. 6.Advising management on the development and placement of staff. 7.Providing career counseling for employees. 8.Monitoring and performing ongoing evaluation and assessment of training quality and effectiveness, and reviewing and modifying training objectives, methods and course deliverables 9.Considering the costs of planned programmers and keeping within budgets as assessing the return on investment of any training or development programmed is becoming increasingly important. 10.Develop and Implement a Training Calendar that meets the needs of all the organization sites. 11.Advising management on the development and placement of staff, and providing career counseling for employees. 12.Preparing and developing instructional training material and aids such as handbooks, visual aids, online tutorials, demonstration models, and supporting training reference documentation 13.Keeping up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses. 14.Maintain training program records for Audit purpose. 15.Ensuring that statutory training requirements are met. 16.Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers. 17.Amending and revising programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment. 18.Designing and developing training and development programmes based on both the organization’s and the individual's needs. 19.Gathering, investigating and researching background materials to gain an understanding of various subject matters and systems. 20.Personal development through internal as well as external certifications.
