Hi Everyone

My name is Miems Louw. I'm from Namibia and is currently working at NAMCOL,the largest ODL Institution in Namibia. I enjoy working in distance education, especially in the field of materials development and like it very much. What I really find challenging and not like very much is the extra project I'm involve in - the drafting of a Recognition for Prior Learning Policy (RPL) for NAMCOL. Maybe because I know very little about the whole RPL thing.

Being part of the Basic Editing Skills workshop is definitely going to be of benefit not only to me but also for NAMCOL. I expect to learn a lot of new skills from what I've observed by wotking through the training material.
