INTRODUCTION
Kalingalinga Youth Resource Centre is one of the 16 Youth Resource Centres run by the Government through the Ministry Of Sport ,Youth and Child Development in the Department of Youth Development. It is the only government Youth Centre based in Lusaka urban. The centre started its operations in 2001.
OBJECTIVES
To provide life skills to the Youth for their sustainability. To develop a Zambian society with young people that will be versatile, creative ,employable ,entrepreneurial and quantitative training for Imparting appropriate life skills to the young people which is relevant to the social –economic development.
VISION
To be a model Youth Resource Centre in the provision of quality Youth Skills Training Programmes

- Entrepreneurship
- Catering/Food Production
- Computer/I.C.T.

TARGET GROUP FOR TRAINING
The center recognizes the following categories of people _Any interested young person aged 15 –35 years ). -School leavers grade 7 ,9,and 12). -Those who have never been to school but have interest in life skills. -Entrepreneurs both –formal and informal sectors.
