Volunteer work

Been thinking -- It seems that we should distinguish between two phases for the volunteer work:
- Planning phase for the OERu (i.e all the activities required for developing the logic model but also planning how the volunteer effort will work)
- Implementation phase (volunteer services for running the OERu)
One of the challenges with a big initiative like the OERu concept, is that it can be overwhelming (lots of info and stuff). So we need to think about an induction pack or something to help newbies come up to speed.
Also thinking that we may need creative ways of classifying volunteer tasks, including the estimates of efforts. Perhaps something like small, medium, large activities and have a place where these are listed.
At the moment our pages are a tad complex (which is quite normal when starting out.) Do you think there should be a separate volunteers list? Perhaps asking existing volunteers if they would like to join a convening group to help with your co-ordination. The convening group, could for example host a monthly teleconference to keep things rolling.
