Deutsch: Verzierte Tür am Eingang einer Phantasie-Villa. Wandgemälde an der östlichen Mauer der römischen Villa von P. Fannius Synistor in Boscoreale (Italien). Die Villa Boscoreale wurde wahrscheinlich kurz nach der Mitte des 1. Jh. v. Chr. gebaut. Das Haus brannte beim Ausbruch des Vesus 79 n. Chr. nieder und wurde 1900 wiederentdeckt.
English: Ornate door standing at the entrance of a fantastic villa. Wall painting on the east wall of the Roman Villa of P. Fannius Synistor at Boscoreale, Italy. The Villa Boscoreale was probably built shortly after the middle of the first century BC. It burned in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79 and was rediscovered in 1900.
