The New Zealand flag is flown at Auckland Airport on the corner of George Bolt Memorial and Tom Pearce Drives. The flag measures 14 metres by 7 metres, and is flown from a 45.6 metre flagpole. According to the Airport authority Communications Co-ordinator, it is the largest New Zealand flag flown in New Zealand. The flagpole was presented to the Airport Company by the Bank of New Zealand in 1990.
