Scope

Scope is important because you need to know what is and is not included for the project to be considered complete. If this is not clearly described, there is a risk of false assumptions and disappointment in the outputs. This could be that the work expected is not complete or that unnecessary effort has gone into work that did not need to be done.

In this learning pathway, you will look for answers to the following questions:

  • What is included in scope?
  • How is it described and communicated?
  • Who decides?
