Overview: Selection and Connection of Portfolio Artefacts

Objectives

Gain skills how to select and connect artifacts for different ePortfolio purposes

It consists of five sessions.

Introduction

In this module you will develop the skills and understanding that will enable you to select appropriate digital artifacts for their ePortfolio and to support learners in their ePortoflio construction.

The Module is build on the basis of the introductory work done in the Foundation Module. Starting Module 1 you are expected to have your own ePortfolio already started (See Foundation Module). Sessions 1 and 5 in this Module will help you to add more content (artefacts) and to develop the structure of your ePortfolio. Module 1 is very practical. You will be advised how to select, integrate and structuralize artifacts for your own ePortfolio. We planned it to take approx. 5 hours but the time may vary according to your technical skills or artifacts already prepared.
To get the most out of the Module you are expected to work through Activities. You will also need some practical experience with supporting students as they develop their presentational ePortfolios.
