Professional portfolios

Midwives in New Zealand are required to maintain a professional portfolio. This is a collection of evidence of the practitioners competence in midwifery practice. Items which may be included in the portfolio are
Record of employment, education and personal and professional development
Record of previous employment
Evidence of continuing education
Evidence of learning that has been achieved through this
