An e-learner is someone who uses the tools of technology to aquire knowledge and skills.
An e-learner may:
- use email,message, forum to contact tutors
- take part in forums , chats, with tutors and peers as part of their learning
- complete part or all of their study online
- use a learning management system or other tool to access learning
