Water cycle in a bottle/background

The purpose of this lesson is to convey the importance and function of the water cycle at the 5th grade level according to Vermont Standards. This plan will include the different stages of the cycle: evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and accumulation, and how they function to produce the water that we use every day. This hands-on activity is designed as an educational tool to allow students to experience the water cycle on a manageable level.
