Voting and Registration The first thing you need to vote in Florida is registration. You also must be a Florida resident. A U.S. Citizen, and you also must be over the age of 18. You also, must have never been convicted of a felony without having your civil rights returned. Correct identification, and have been registered for 29 days are also required. Procedure of Voting You must complete the voting registration with all fields true and completely filled. Submit the signed application by mail to you county Supervisor of Election. If given the right to vote, your voters card will be sent to your residence. You are then able to vote. Find the next election date, and your voting location. This can be determined by your states polling website. At the poll location, cast your ballot. Whether on paper or electronically.

The next voting date is January 31st, 2012. This will be the presidential preference primary.
