There are multiple requirements along with a simple procedure that must be completed prior to voting in the state of Florida.


REQUIREMENTS:

-Must be at least 18 years old.

-Can't have been legally judged ineligible to vote. (this can be done for mental incapacitation or crime)

-Cannot have been convicted of a felony with your civil rights still not restored.

-Must be able to provide a current and valid Florida driver's license or identification card number. The last four digits of your social security number may be used in the case of no other identification.

-Must be registered for at least 29 days before you can vote in your first election.


PROCEDURES

-Fill out and print a voter registration application online. (You can choose to print it, then fill it out with a black ink pen if you prefer)

-Sign your application and send it to your county supervisor of elections, or take it to the DMV...easy as that!

-If you qualify as a voter, you will recieve a voter information cardto let you know that you're now registered to vote.
