Current VLNC activity is centred around the deployment of a nation wide review for Quality Assurance of the learner experience as a Student Survey. its collaborative development has been through the VLNC Google+ community. Introducing your VLNC Council members
Sue Winters - Chair
Sue is ePrincipal for the Volcanics Cluster. She brings with her years of experience as both a Principal and a coach. Sharing at the AGM her excitement at the progress of ‘the first three years’ of the VLNC Sue will lead us into the ‘next three years’ by exploring how the strategic priorities, defined by the community, are promoted.
Conor Bolton - Treasurer
Conor Bolton is teaching at St John School in Hastings. With his years of experience in the work the community from his previous role as ePrincipal and as an eTeacher, Conor brings also his head for business and his vision for the future on the journey the VLNC is on.
Robin Ohia
Robin Ohia manages Kahui Kura. He has a passion for Learning Design and influence across many communities within the education landscape. Robin brings his artist eye for the finer details required to ensure that from small beginnings, with careful cultivation and ingenuity the VLNC will produce long-term results.
Gary Pasco
Gary Pasco is Principal at Roxburgh Area School and brings leadership and longevity in the development of eLearning from his position within one of the oldest clusters OtagoNet. Gary shares the learning of an innovative community to the creation of an education environment for the future through the activities of VLNC.
Chris Nielsen
Chris Nielsen is Principal at Whakatane High School. The newest kid on the block in terms of the Council, he is no stranger to the eLearning environment being one of the instigators of the Baylink cluster during his term at Tamatea High School. Chris brings to the work of the VLNC his intention to ensure an education environment that is challenging, enabling and nationally sustainable.
