Hi Michael,
Welcome to our WikiEducator community. I recently presented a workshop in Barbados, and there was also a teacher interested in developing materials for technical drawing, woodwork etc.
You should make contact with Troy Phillips -- perhaps we will see collaboration growing between Barbados and Uganda in this area!
